         01/97 - 12/99    Contract Programmer

         Project manager of Y2K code analysis/implementation at a retail distributor in Kennesaw, GA. Project included database modifications and system cleanup in an RPG ILE environment supervising a team of four persons. Other projects involved working with Island Pacific wholesale distribution system and Lawson financial software. Project duration of one year.
         Involved in several projects at The Insurance House in Marietta, GA such as six months of intense Y2K analysis and program compliance modifications. Design of new Fire and Homeowner applications using Referential Integrity and Trigger programming. Maintain existing business applications using ILE RPG techniques. Project duration 18 months.


        10/95 - 01/97 Consultant, International Business Machines - Atlanta, Georgia

         Supported Database group on the IBM AS/400 Supportline. Recreated customer problems and provided customers with program examples. Analyzed existing problems to determine whether they are user error or program defects. Environment: DB2/400, SQL, Query Optimizer, Journaling, DRDA, Datapropagator, SMP, SMAPP's.


        04/94 - 10/95 Staff Consultant, Kurt Salmon Associates - Atlanta, Georgia

         In a management consulting firm, responsibilities included supporting in-house developed Distribution software known as DCMS (Distribution Center Management System), managing client project billing, managing and estimating all software requirements and client support, administering software releases for AS/400 and supporting Client Access/400 Window 3.1.
         Provided technical support for client's system and demonstrated client satisfaction. Develop estimates for system-wide changes. Involved in system migrations and product installations. Administer all operating system software updates.


        07/89 - 03/94 Senior Programmer/Analyst, CISD International - Costa Mesa, California

         In a software consulting firm, responsibilities included interacting with customers to define requirements, supporting, maintaining and enhancing application programs using RPG/400 on IBM AS/400. Served in a nine month project on-site in Kentucky, installing MAPICS/DB. Responsible for supporting several client sites. Conversion and maintenance of MBI Distribution and Accounting systems. Responsible for installing OV/400 and training management using calendar and electronic mail functions. Developed and implemented in-house candidate tracking system - an interactive criteria search of qualified candidates for client contracts.

         Worked in their Healthcare Systems division at Hoag Hospital in Newport Beach, California using in-house software for hospital business applications on IBM System 38.
